Studies show dogs often respond differently when they smell "stressed" sweat versus neutral sweat. That's why your dog might suddenly get clingy or concerned when you're upset—even if you haven't said a word. To them, your feelings are literally in the air. Dogs don't just notice when you're stressed—they sense it before you do. Changes in your body chemistry happen quickly when you're anxious, releasing subtle scent cues through sweat and breath. To a dog, these cues are as obvious as a siren. This is why some dogs suddenly sit closer, nudge your hand, or refuse to leave your side when you're overwhelmed. 

It has nothing to do with their cuteness though! Sometimes it's just nice to learn something new. A warm bowl of delicious dog memes is just what you need on a Monday.
